Overview:
Your grip is your only connection to the club. The way you hold it influences clubface control and ball flight.
Grip Styles:
Neutral Grip: Both “V’s” formed by thumb & forefinger point toward right shoulder (for right-handed golfers). Promotes straight shots.
Strong Grip: Hands rotated slightly right on the handle. Promotes a draw and reduces slicing.
Interlock Grip: Left index finger interlocks with right little finger; popular with players with smaller hands.
Overlap (Vardon) Grip: Right little finger rests over left index finger; most common among pros.
Tip: Choose the grip that feels comfortable and allows square impact.
